Red and White Daisy Onesie Dress
A few months back, I was asked to make two onesie dresses. In the request I was asked to make them slightly roomier through the bottom, as the baby that would wear them had a harness she wore to help correct hip displacement. The customer requested for one of the dresses to be pink and to surprise her with the second. With Christmas being around the corner at the time, I found this adorable red daisy fabric and just had to make a red one.
I loved the color of the dress and again included a removable bow on the dress and a headband to complete the outfit.
The great thing about the detachable bow, is that it can be turned into a hair bow later on.
Here is the pink onesie dress that I also completed. As you can see I don't always make the exact same thing twice. This dress had a slightly different removable on it. Plus the matching headband was different.

Valentine Clippies and Headband
I was perusing Pinterest one evening when I came across a really cute Butterfly Love Bug Clippie that was available on Etsy. Being that it was getting close to Valentines and since my girls had already gotten out their Valentine Bows and had been wearing them for a couple of weeks, I decided they needed something fresh. Since my oldest likes wearing her hair down most days, I thought some cute clippies would be perfect to hold her long bangs back. I searched Pinterest to see if their were any Tutorials for making the ribbon hearts and to my luck I was able to find some tutorials on the Love Bug Clippies themselves. I was able to find two Tutorials and set to work making them.
My first attempt didn't turn out so great, but I learned my errors. I then made 2 of them. One with a pink body and one with red. They were so much fun to make. I had most of the supplies already on hand, and only needed to purchase the sparkly pom poms and the floral stems for the antenna's. My girls loved their new clips and wore them past Valentines Day.

Valentine Crafts
A couple of years ago my Sister-in-Law at the time shared an awesome place with me, The Wood Connection. My first project was making my girls' names with the wood letters that they sold and have since done several projects. At The Wood Connection they allow you to take pictures of their finished projects on Display,so you can have ideas on how to finish your own. You can also purchase the paint, paper, glue, ribbon, ect., making it a one stop shop. The Wood Connection also has a blog in which they give tutorials on how to finish your wood projects along with their latest items for sale. One of the things I love about this store is they have a play area for the kiddos, which for a busy mama like me, usually having 3 to 4 kids in tow, makes shopping there much more enjoyable and the kids are entertained.
My most recent projects were for Valentines Day which unfortunately I was unable to complete by Valentines (hopefully they will be finished for next year and I will share those then). My two oldest daughters love to help me paint the projects and since doing wood projects is something my Sisters and I have in common, we love getting together once a month to work on our projects. The added bonus is that since 3 out of 4 of us have kids, my Mom also comes and entertains the Grand-kids which is awesome, except for my 7 month old Baby Girl has become a major Mama's girl and decided that as long as I am present no one can touch her, making it almost impossible for me to get much done on my projects. But my sisters have been great to help me paint and at least make some headway on my projects.
Here are a few from last year that I completed and I love the way they turned out:
