Elephant Bow

I saw some bows that looked like Elephants one day and I couldn't help but make a set for my daughter.  I had a fun time and aren't they cute?

I love finding new ways to manipulate ribbon into new sculptures.
$3 each or 2 for $5

Summer Sherbet Bow

Over the summer, I was asked to make a bow to match a fun floral print summer dress.  After much thought on the perfect color combination for a bow to match, I came up with this beautiful Summer Bow.  The top green ribbon, I have had for several years and used on different bows, I used the last of it on this bow and I am not sure if it is still available anywhere.  If I find it again, I hope to make this same bow for my girls.

Ghost and Pumpkins and Spiders, Oh My!

My kids are so excited for Halloween and have been excitedly deciding their Halloween Costumes for this year.  Because of their excitement for Halloween I sat down one evening and made some new Halloween bows for them.  Especially since they have been wearing their hair down more and just want a small clip to put in their hair.

I saw a really cute spider Bow on Pinterest and made my own version.  All 3 of my girls love this one.
 $4

My youngest really loves the Spider and had fun modeling it for me.

I found this really cute Pumkin Korker on Pinterest also and it had a link to a Tutorial, so I cooked some ribbon one afternoon and wallah.

$4

Lastly, I made this really cute Ghost Clippie.  I had seen several on Pinterest and so I knew my 2 older girls would love wearing it to pull just their bangs back.

$2

The tutorial for the Pumpkin Korker can be found at: Funky Polkadot Giraffe

Barefoot Sandals for Baby

In the last year, I have become an Aunt to three new nieces.  It has been so fun.  I saw these cute Baby Sandals on Pinterest and decided that since I had the supplies on hand, I would make a pair for my cute niece that comes to my house on a regular basis.  I whipped some up while she was napping one afternoon and when she woke up I tried them on her.

My Niece modeling her new Barefoot Sandals:

It was so fun and I have since made a couple more.  There are so many color combination possibilities.  I look forward to making more in the future.

$4 a pair

Pink and White Onesie Dress

I recently had the opportunity to help plan a baby shower for a neighbor with our Activity Day Girls (ages 8-11).  It was so much fun and I had the pleasure of making another onesie dress.  This time I picked a pink fabric to make the dress.

I added a checked pink and white elastic to the waist and then a detachable white flower.  I also added a cute bow and button to the back (but forgot to take a picture of it).
$20

Here is a close up of the white bow.

I finished the ensemble off with a cute shabby headband.

$5
The only sad thing about making these cute onesie dresses is that I have never actually gotten to see one of them on a little baby (in person or picture).  Maybe one day...
