Pink, Green and Blue Easter Bows
I love getting requests to make bow to match outfits. This past Easter I received several orders for just this and had so much fun. One of the first sets of bows I made, were to match a fun spring colored dress. The customer needed two bows made, for her two girls. One bow needed to be smaller for the younger daughter.
Here are the fun bows I made (I am not much of a photographer, so I apologize for not always having the best pictures of the bows):
A smaller 3" bow:
The larger 4" bow:

Neon Pink and White Hair Bow
Neon Pink seems to be a very popular color this year, however finding neon pink ribbon has been a challenge.

Sugar Plum Snuggle Sack & Hat
A dear friend of mine recently had a baby. Before her new little bundle of joy arrived, I really wanted to make something special for the new baby. I perused Pinterest for cute crochet baby cocoon sets. I found one that I really like, but when I followed the link to the etsy store I found even more cute sets. I finally decided on the Sugar Plum Snuggle Sack and Hat by Cielo's Closet.
The pattern was great and I was able to complete it in time for the new babies arrival. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of the new little one in this cute set.

Shimmer Silver and Black Bow
I loved how the Red and White Sparkle Bow, so when I was asked to make a bow in Silver and Black to match a Dress, I knew that this bow style would be perfect. The pictures do not do this bow justice and was really hard to get a great picture of it. But it is truly adorable in person.
This bow would also be cute on a big girl or baby headband.

Gold Headbands and Bow Tie
Isn't Gold a great color at Christmas time to have. It seems that it can go with so many girls' Christmas dresses. These were another order I received at Christmas time, and with it came the question of if I could make a matching bow tie, as the Mom wanted her little boy to have a matching bow tie. I was able to do just that. I made two different styles of headbands, as one of the girls was twelve and the other eight.
I felt this larger headband would be more appropriate and fun for a teenage girl. A bit more mature.

Adorable Baby Headband Refashion
While reorganizing photos, I came across this gem. A couple of years ago I had a friend come to me with her baby's headband that the elastic had come off and as the bow was quite special to her, asked if I could not only fix the elastic but add to it.
The original headband was just this small cluster of flowers on a skinny elastic. The Headband was perfect for a Newborn, but as the little girl was almost a year old at this time, it was now very small on her head.
I then finished it off with a new lace elastic. I simply adored the finished product and my friend was just so happy that her little girl could continue to wear this special piece. In the future the headband can be removed and a clip added or added to a regular headband, making it possible to wear this headband/bow for many years to come.

Wanting the original piece to be the main focus on the new headband, I added a couple of simple additions to the grouping.
