Ice Cream Cone Headband

I love Celebrating Birthday's.  My Mom always made a bid deal out of our Birthday's growing up and I do the same with my own kids.  I like to make my kid's a birthday cake of their choice (which cannot be fancy, as I am no professional cake decorator), I take them to the store to pick out birthday plates, cups and napkins, they get to choose an activity to do on their birthday and also what they want me to make them for their birthday dinner (unless they pick to go out to eat for their birthday as their activity).

This past month my cute little niece turned 1 and I just had to make her something special for big day.  I decided that I would make her a cute Birthday headband.  I liked the idea of the ice cream cone headband's but I didn't like the thought of using an actual ice cream cone (as it could fall off and break).  I made the ice cream cone out of felt and adorned it accordingly.  I love that this is something that she can wear each year for her birthday.  I was so excited for my niece's birthday to arrive, so I could try it on her.  She looked adorable in it.

Now for the picture overload of this cute headband.

$15

My adorable two year old had fun modeling the headband for me and she wants one for her Birthday.  For her I will add it to a regular metal headband.

Vintage Style: Gold, Pink and Cream

I am so in love with this Headband.  I love Vintage Style and have been wanting to make some of these fun headbands for a while.  A friend had asked me to make a headband for her daughter that would match her Christmas dress that was ivory and gold and wanted a touch of color added to the headband.  Together we decided pink would be a perfect accent color (as her daughter loves pink).

$15
I loved how the colors came together perfectly and the end result was so stunning.

 I simply adore this headband.
To my delight someone saw a picture of this headband while in the process of making it and also wanted one for her infant.  So here it is for an infant.
$15

Now to make all my girls pink, white and silver ones to match their Christmas dresses.

Red, Black and White Headband

Another lovely mix of colors.  I obsess with every  last detail on every headband. Which makes the Daisy button flower the perfect addition to the bow.

Black and Aqua Headband

I love the blend of this headband.  Black and Aqua looks so stunning together and compliment each other well.  With a touch of white this headband was absolutely perfect.

This picture isn't the best quality (as it was taken by my phone at night), but it shows how it would look simplified.  Still just as pretty.

Winter Wreath

Isn't this a fun winter wreath.  I was commissioned last year to create flowers to go on this wreath.  The person wanted the wreath to be BYU blue and white.  I had been wanting to try making felt flowers and so this gave me the perfect chance to do so.  I tried three different types and then placed the flowers on the wreath.  The end result turned out perfect.  The flowers were so fun to make and in the end I think this wreath makes a perfect wreath for winter or the month of January.  You could even add some snowflakes for a more wintry feel.

Red and White Daisy Onesie Dress

A few months back, I was asked to make two onesie dresses.  In the request I was asked to make them slightly roomier through the bottom, as the baby that would wear them had a harness she wore to help correct hip displacement.  The customer requested for one of the dresses to be pink and to surprise her with the second.  With Christmas being around the corner at the time, I found this adorable red daisy fabric and just had to make a red one.

I loved the color of the dress and again included a removable bow on the dress and a headband to complete the outfit.
The great thing about the detachable bow, is that it can be turned into a hair bow later on.
$4 for the bow only

Here is the pink onesie dress that I also completed.  As you can see I don't always make the exact same thing twice.  This dress had a slightly different removable on it.  Plus the matching headband was different.

Vintage Rose and Purple Headband

I am such a lucky Aunt, I have so many nieces and one in particular I get to see on a regular basis.  One day she came to my house with a cute outfit to wear and I knew right a way that I needed to make her a matching headband.  The colors of the outfit were so fun.

 The headband turned out perfect

And this little cutie was a great model for her new headband.

The Elegant Peachy-Pink and White Headband

This is my all time favorite headband.  I was asked to make a peachy pink headband for a wedding reception and a photo of the dress it was to go with was sent to me.  I spent several hours getting the headband just right and when I was done I couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out.  It was such a hit, that I had 3 more orders of this particular headband and I even made one for my own girls.  This would even make a great Baby Headband.

I am so in love with this Headband!

The Christmas Season of Bows has Begun

I am so excited, the Christmas Season of Bows has begun (actually it started 2 weeks ago).  I loved getting into the Season with my first request for Bows to match Christmas Dresses and an Outfit.  I had so much fun putting each of these bows together.

I am looking forward to many more fun Bows and Headbands this Season.

Navy Blue, Grey and Burgundy Headbands

I just love when people ask me to create bows or headbands in certain colors.  I recently was asked to make headbands in the colors of Navy Blue, Grey and Burgundy for family photos.  The color combination was remarkable and they were so fun to make.
